Lamont & Melissa Simmons

 

Married for 27 years, Lamont and Melissa Simmons have three children, Ashley Renee, 25, Nicholas Lamont, 20 and Christian John (CJ), 15.

The marriage didn't start out good for them, and 7 years they tried to figure how to make things better.  Finally, a couple reached out to them and taught them how to be married from God's perspective.  This incredible year of this couple pouring into their marriage changed everything.  So much so that now Lamont and Melissa wanted to give back to other couples.  

 

Lamont and Melissa started to host Valentine Dinners. Surprisingly, they found that other couples needed the same kind of attention that they received and that the dinners were only the beginning of what God wanted them to do. Both Lamont and Melissa are ordained in ministry and serve faithfully.   

 

As years went on the dinner parties, became marriage advance weekends and the weekends became And2 Marriage Ministries with quarterly and semi-annual events such as dinner parties, Couples BBQ's, one-day intensive marriage sessions.

 

Currently, Lamont and Melissa are speakers at couple events, coaching and mentoring couples towards better marriages, providing vital Bible-based information and knowledge about marriage by weekly hosting the Marriage Call, authors of the book The 5 Rules of Marriage and introducing Marriage Building Audio Series.
